"Na sexta à noite, Jader foi visto sozinho no interior do discreto Bar Brazuka. Ficou o tempo todo de olho na porta, tomando refrigerante sem comer nada. Segundo os frequentadores, Jader olhava constantemente para a porta, como se estivesse à espera de alguém. Por volta das 23 horas, esse alguém chegou.
Na porta do bar, esperava por ele uma mulher morena de longos cabelos negros. A descrição da idade variou muito. Alguns dos presentes disseram que ela poderia ter 18 anos, outros 'mais de trinta', e outros ainda disseram que ela havia passado dos 50. Ninguém se lembrava de tê-la visto antes.
A polícia local pediu retratos falados da tal mulher, e aconteceu algo estranho: as descrições mudavam completamente de acordo com a testemunha. O único ponto no qual todos concordavam era seu olhar penetrante. Alguns dos presentes a descreveram como 'misteriosa', outros como 'muito bonita'. 'Muito feia' também foi citado. 'Sedutora' parece ter sido o adjetivo mais usado. Várias das testemunhas compararam a mulher a uma “cigana”. Jader pagou sua conta e saiu apressado atrás da garota".

The Witch of Rio Claro
"On Friday night, Jader was seen alone inside the discreet Bar Brazuka. He kept an eye on the door the whole time, drinking soda without eating anything. According to the regulars, Jader was constantly looking at the door, as if he was waiting for someone. Around 11 p.m., that someone arrived.
A brunette woman with long black hair was waiting for him at the door of the bar. The description of her age varied greatly. Some of those present said she could be 18 years old, others 'over thirty', and still others said she was over 50. No one remembered having seen her before.
The local police asked for sketches of the woman, and something strange happened: the descriptions changed completely depending on the witness. The only point on which everyone agreed was her penetrating gaze. Some of those present described her as 'mysterious', others as 'very beautiful'. 'Very ugly' was also mentioned. 'Seductive' seems to have been the adjective most used. Several of the witnesses compared the woman to a “gypsy”. Jader paid his bill and hurriedly went after the girl."
